Book Talk: November Wrap Up

As I wrap up the month and finish up this blog post, the books I read at the beginning of November seem so far away. I didn't get to read as much as I would've liked to, especially since I increased my Goodreads Reading Challenge from 80 to 90 books for the year, but it is not a bad number at all. I'm confident that I'll be able to complete this new goal by the end of the year.

Happy Hub: All American, The Good Dinosaur, Zoya Yuna, & More!

November felt really long this month (thanks to a certain class that will not be named... *cough* business law *cough*) but I managed to fit a lot in. Looking at this Happy Hub, it doesn't look like there's any more than any other month but I felt like a busy bee all month. Thankfully I had plenty of long weekends and days off because those were packed as well. Maybe I can pencil in some relaxation for winter break...

It's Thanksgiving week! I'll officially be on break the moment this blog post goes up and I'm sure you are already there. Hopefully I'll be able to relax a bit this long weekend despite my impending finals and paper... But right now I'm just so glad you are finally seeing this hairstyle because I was very very excited when I came up with the idea for it weeks ago.

Long time no blog! I mean, I only skipped one post but that's enough to throw me off my game. There was so much going on this week and so much deviation from my usual schedule that nothing really felt right. Looking on the bright side, Thanksgiving is next week and it won't be long until the quarter is over and I can finally let myself relax. Sleeping in past ten without guilt?! Paradise.

Stepping out of the box wasn't the intention for this week's #hairoftheweek but that's what ended up happening. I wasn't sure about this one because it's so different from what I've usually done for #hairoftheweek but I have some wonderfully supportive friends that inspire confidence in me and reassure me that different is okay.

Whenever I think of autumn, there are two versions that I picture. The sunny, deceptively crisp days and the brisk, windy, soggy days. Most of this week was the former. I wouldn't mind some more of the latter, though. I need every excuse to break out my sweaters (and to splash in puddles but that's a whole different issue).
