#hairoftheweek: Fall 2015 Recap

Now that we're officially done with the season, it's time to consolidate everything into one post for your viewing pleasure. It's like a gallery of sorts. I'm really proud of Fall 2015 because I came up with all the hairstyles myself so each of them have an extra special place in my heart. Visiting Voices: Christmas Movies

I wanted to do something special for Christmas and seeing as the big day is still two days away, there's plenty of time left to sit down and enjoy some Christmassy flicks. I've recruited my roommates to pitch in their all-time favorite Christmas movies for this post so you can get a taste of what our apartment will be watching this season. This might be one of my personal favorite creations but that just might be because I wore it for our annual family Christmas party! I'm also quite chuffed with myself because I stumbled across this hairstyle on accident. Sometimes all it takes it just a bit of messing around to find what you didn't know you were looking for.

Book Talk: Christmas Recommendations

Now that we're all starting winter break, we're going to have a lot more time on our hands to read. Finally! What better time to cozy up with a book than when you're all snuggled up in bed (or by the fire if that's a thing you do) with a warm drink in hand? Add some rain or snow falling outside of your window?! And I can't think of a better book to snuggle up with than one fit for the season -- a Christmas book! Well, this list will have holiday books, not necessarily Christmas, but in season enough to make the most sense to be reading in December. Hopefully you like the list I've put together. #hairoftheweek: #tbt French Lace Duo

This season's Fan Favorite #hairoftheweek was a real close one. Like, real close. There was a three-way tie for a while and nearly every hairstyle had votes. Before voting began, I honestly had no idea which hairstyle would win but I knew I'd be pleased with any outcome. I didn't have a favorite myself because how can you choose between your children?!

Travelog: Cruise Food | Desserts

After this post, we will officially done with all the content from this summer's epic cruise. Don't shed a tear quite yet -- we still have this post to go! And what better way than to go out with two cruises worth of desserts?! This post is also very special because it's dedicated to Amreen, who is sweet as pie. (Unfortunately, there is no pie in this blog post.) Today is her birthday (two whole decades!) so give her some love on Twitter, Tumblr, or in the comments below! Happy birthday, Amreen!

#hairoftheweek: French Fishtail Accent

Since #hairoftheweek's seasons last as long as my academic quarters, I'm always anticipating getting to Week 10. That signals the end of instruction for my classes so all that's left are final exams. That's not exactly something to be glad about but just think how close it is to being over... This time of the quarter is also exciting because I get to hear your feedback on the season! Fan Favorite is one of the best parts of #hairoftheweek because everybody gets to join in on the fun.

Book Talk: November Wrap Up

As I wrap up the month and finish up this blog post, the books I read at the beginning of November seem so far away. I didn't get to read as much as I would've liked to, especially since I increased my Goodreads Reading Challenge from 80 to 90 books for the year, but it is not a bad number at all. I'm confident that I'll be able to complete this new goal by the end of the year.
