Travelog: Cruise Food | Entrees

It's time for another Cruise Food post! I had difficulty categorizing this post so I hope you get a chuckle out of the headings. I think you'll have a really good idea about my favorite Western foods by the time you're done. If you're just joining the Cruise Food series, or if you just want to recap, be sure to check out the Starters and be on the lookout for Desserts!

Everything you see on these Cruise Food posts are from my Mediterranean cruise on the Norwegian Jade. You can read all about that trip in these three posts. (You can also read about my time in Venice but I was off the ship by then.)

Proteins:

Cajun Chicken Mac n Cheese
Grilled Grouper
Chicken Piccata
Steak (probably) (I forgot to take a picture of this one's menu)
Sirloin Steak Dianne
Country Fried Chicken
Grilled Shrimp

Vegetables:

Zucchini e Pomodore
Mediterranean Calamari Salad

Grains:

Linguini & Braised Short Ribs
Shrimp & Penne a la Pesto
Veal Zurich
Palermo Calamari
Linguini Vongole with Little Neck Clams
Orecchiette Pasta & Italian Meatballs

Bonus:

Sushi rolls from the Sushi Bar (not complimentary)

For some reason I'm really craving pasta... There's a small pain in my chest from how much I miss cruise food. Maybe that's in my abdomen and I'm hungry... Hmm. I'll have to investigate. I started working on this post with a full stomach but let me know if you're feeling it, too. It's possible we're all vulnerable to the power of cruise food.

I know you haven't gotten enough food porn so I'm going to send you over to Steph, who's currently in Japan (!!!), and is writing about her experience on It's Raining Cats and Mochi. She just recently posted her second food post and it's a sweet one. Steph's had the chance to try out some really cool treats while she's been there! If you liked Food for Blog #1, I have a feeling you're going to like Food for Blog #2.

Talk to you soon!

xo, Yvette
